Health and Medical Consideration: She Ascends’ difficulty rating reflects the level of physical effort required for the activities in our adventure. Ratings range from 1 (low difficulty) to 6 (high difficulty). When determining a rating, we consider factors such as temperature extremes, elevation change, total mileage, terrain type, and the agility required. Please consider that elevation affects everyone differently.
On our big hiking days, we’ll offer two leveled groups:
- Hit the Summits – Difficulty rating: 5-6
- Let’s Put Some Miles On and Smell the Wildflowers – Difficulty rating: 3-4
Arrive in Iceland and dive into Viking history before enjoying a peaceful nature walk and an evening in Reykjavík. Spend the next days soaking in hot spring rivers, exploring lava tunnels, and taking in the dramatic beauty of the South Coast. Experience glacier hiking, paddling among icebergs, and visiting iconic waterfalls and black-sand beaches. Travel the Golden Circle to see geysers, powerful falls, and volcanic craters, then enjoy a whale-watching adventure and rejuvenating soak at Sky Lagoon.
